The Peel Regional Heritage Fair (The Fair), now celebrating its 7th year, supports students from grades 4 through 8 in their explorations of people, places, events and issues in Canada's past, and allows them, as your historians, to construct and share histories of the past.
The Fair enjoys the generous support of community partners including Brampton Libraries, the Brampton Historical Society, the City of Brampton, the City of Mississauga, the Museums of Mississauga, Friends of the Museums, Friends of the Old Britannia Schoolhouse (PDSB), the Library System of Mississauga, the Métis Nation of Ontario, the Peel Aboriginal Network, the Peel Heritage Complex, and the Region of Peel.
Throughout the one-day Fair, students are treated to a guest speaker, teach and learn from their peers, showcase their work in public displays, and participate in a variety of engaging, interactive workshops.
