PROGRAM |
|
The Sudbury Regional Heritage Fair is a vibrant community celebration where local museums, historical associations, businesses and multicultural groups come together to offer displays, demonstrations, and entertainment. The event begins on Thursday evening at Laurentian University where adjudication of student projects takes place in the Great Hall. Following adjudication, the public is invited to view the student projects to provide the students with an opportunity to share their stories with the community. The following day, fair participants and registered local school classes participate in educational workshops and cultural performances. The public is welcome throughout the day to view the student projects.
An awards ceremony is held in the Fraser Auditorium during the week following the fair on May 10th at 7:00pm.
