The Heritage Fairs Program is a multi-media initiative developed to increase public awareness and interest in Canadian history.
The Ontario Heritage Fairs Association offers students the opportunity to explore the many aspects of their Canadian heritage in
a dynamic learning environment
and to present the results of their efforts in either French or English in a public exhibitions.
The program is non-competitive in nature, with an emphasis on the importance of the
learning process and the exchange of ideas.

The Ontario Heritage Fairs Association (OHFA) is shifting the focus of Regional and Provincial Fairs this year to digital projects.
We encourage students to continue to represent local stories of their communities, families, history and heritage, and share them online instead of in person.

We are very excited to be able to offer this option this year!

Please submit your virtual fair projects to your Regional Fair Coordinators during your Virtual Regional Heritage Fair in the Spring.
(Your teacher will be able to provide you with information on how to do that in 2021).

(Remote students who cannot participate in a Regional Fair in their area should contact OHFA for more information about ways in which they can take part.)

Once AWARD WINNERS have been chosen at your Virtual Regional Heritage Fair, those projects will be forwarded to the Virtual Provincial Heritage Fair
so that they be shared on this page.  A list of PROVINCIAL AWARDS can be found at
https://www.ohhfa.ca/Awards.php
